MT TAM AND MUIR BEACH INTIMATE PORTRAIT SESSION | FIREFLY
Firefly came down from Eureka to for an intimate portrait session. She is both a water and a tree lover, so we started our session on Mt Tam for the vast views and big trees. We had a rare sunny day where the clouds weren’t covering the view of San Francisco in the distance—Mt Tam is known for the clouds and fog settling in below you. After shooting there we headed down the mountain to finish our session at Muir Beach as the sun was setting. We again got lucky, this time with low tide we were able to shoot on the rocks. And as is classic with my intimate sessions at the beach, we ended by getting in the ocean. Yes, me too. If you’re getting in in your underwear, so am I—it’s the only way to get those shots. It was COLD (this is Northern California in February, after all), but we both left exhilarated and happy.
